Not the classiest joint that you'll ever visit but they sure do have amazing Pizza. I wouldn't really describe it as New York style as it's more artisan but it's still fairly thin crust. If you want traditional pepperoni and cheese great, however if you want something a little different their pesto chicken is amazing. Not a really great drink selection as they have a couple bottle beers and wine. As a bonus the staff are always super friendly. I don't always get it but one of my other favorite things on the menu are there pepperoni rolls!

Although it's a little pricey, the great food makes up for it. Staff is kind and the owner of the restaurant is very involved and I often see her there when I go to get food. Every time I go I have a great experience. My favorite pepperoni pizza. (gluten free is great)

I was born and raised in Chicago. Many generations of my family grew up in Chicago. I am very particular about my food. Mama Lisa's has great food. I am very picky about my pizza sauce and their marinara sauce was perfectly flavored and their meat balls were moist and delicious. I was impressed. I will be back for more. I am disappointed in how people have rated this place because I was happy with my service and food. I think there are some negative people who have nothing better to do than rag on a restaurant because they are so unhappy in their lives.

I just had the pleasure of sampling their breakfast fare. It was stratospheric! The Breakfast salad with avocado was delectable. The Cornbread Casserole with sausage and Egg was very good. The Potato Casserole with cheese was very delicious. If you want ambrosia, Mamma Lisa has the recipe!! They are top billing at my next catered event. Thank you!!

We ordered a two for one for pick up tonight and the original order was not quit right. However they not only went out of their way to correct the order, they delivered it right away with a gift certificate as well. The Pizza was delicious and the staff was exceptional. Started on the wrong foot but turned into a new pizza favorite. Definitely will be going back again.

My wife and I used Mama Lisa's to cater our 180 person wedding and post-wedding we could not be happier. The service was good during the tasting and excellent during the wedding. Lisa accurately described her food and capabilities and was able to help us choose food that fit what we wanted for our wedding. We agreed on a reasonable price per head (much lower than some other options), created a payment plan and had no issues with unexpected costs. When it came time for the reception the staff was professional and did a great job keeping food moving and warm while also ensuring that we (the bride and groom) were taken care of. It definitely felt like the people at Mama Lisa's cared about the success of our wedding and were not some corporate machine just serving more food to take in money. If you are having an event and you are looking to support a local business that will do a great job Mama Lisa's is an excellent choice.

We found Mama Lisa's on Thumbtack to cater for our wedding and it was the best decision we made for our wedding planning. Mama Lisa's and her staff were extremely professional, went above and beyond everything we asked and even gave my wife and I food before the reception started knowing we probably wouldn't be able to have time to get it (we didn't). They set up our tables beautifully and were so nice and helpful. When we asked about a Mac and cheese bar that we were thinking about, she offered to whip it up right at the food tasting and made it part of the wedding. It was wonderful and I recommend them to anyone and everyone!

We often visit Mama Lisa's and have yet to be disappointed with table service and takeout alike. Their pizza is our favorite in the area and the chicken parmesan is the best I've ever had.
